I don't read books that often i mainly read comics i think the last book i read was the road to woodbury.

I should have done a poll :feelsree:

I had read a little bit from the book a confederacy of dunces, it was enjoyable to read.
I had read the metamorphosis by franz kafka and thought it was retarded.

Sometimes I get the motivation to start books and then put it down for a little and end up never picking it back up.

yes but less nowadays

No, reading gives me a headache

Theres this one im reading right now called Sapiens

I used to hate reading but I started listening to books using an app.

Fiction is a cope. People hate non-fiction readers unless they've read the book.

I've learned a lot but the knowledge is pretty worthless. And I still suck at writing.

Yes, I should read more but I get distracted easily

I read sometimes, but I enjoy audiobooks more. You can listen to it while walking or doing something, nowadays for example I listen Mistborn while I work out.

Yes all the time, mostly history. It’s a great form of escapism/entertainment.

I read online articles more than books, so I do read, just not physical books.

Reading is cucked and ruins your vision.

Yes, but I've been slacking lately. It's a cheap escape I guess

No, I hate reading.

I read ao3 stories

No, i don't find anything interesting

No book for my face

I've got $170 worth of book vouchers but no books I want :feelsseriously:

Yes. I used to read more often in the past tho

Last book I read was this Johan Cruyff book about the 1974 world cup, a man who more than anyone changed the football and FC Barcelona history.

I read political books and philosophy

I used to be writer in the past usually dystopian stories. I barely read books because most of them are too mainstream and plain

I kind of want to read a book about electrical engineering ngl.

Mostly audio books

Man I bought some books recently but I just can't get invested. I hate humanity too much I just can't care, I wish I could. All I can do is doomscroll and drink

yes, a lot, it's very good

rarely, i mostly read comics now. Every time i try to read a book i end up getting bored and dropping it. It’s not an attention thing, it’s a “this book is fucking dogshit” thing. I don’t understand why but for some reason most books have like a 100 page introduction, where absolutely nothing happens and they just introduce characters and world build. Like motherfucker, if your book is 200-300 pages then why are 100 of those pages just the intro???? Get the story started already you talentless, bumbling moron.

Yes. I have a library with thousands. Libraries throw away the best non-fiction books.

Yes mainly classical russian literature

Reading books is for smart people. I’m not one of those people.

Sometimes I read short stories and dramas because you can be done with them quick. Novels are too slow for me, I'm a very slow reader so if a chapter is 20 pages long with no dialogue I just can't get through it.

have any samples?

No, but I listen to tons of audiobooks.

Barely i used to read a shit ton back in middle school. I wanna try again and I wanna think im gonna try my hand in writing

I haven’t read a book since middle school

people that read books and the artsy intellectual type give me the vibe that they do it so that they can show that they have more culture than anyone else rather than really doing it for themselves and grow on a personnal level , i used to kind of be that guy but i was always in search of truth no matter what so i went from kind of art and litterature to scientific studies and the blackpill and it even hapenned brutally i understood that litterature is overall a fucking waste of time and useless bullshit unless you re reading some philosophy and even that you can get the basics from some youtube videos about various philosophers and philosophies no need to read all of the books but the litterature types give off the uuuhhmmm akhtualllyyy wibe which makes them insufferable. Litterature has become obsolete.

I´m reading 1984. After a long time without reading, it made me remember how cool it was.
