Do you need a VPN to visit incels.is ?

No, but I'd still recommend to use a VPN or tor to hide your internet traffic from ISP. We are one of the most hated minorities, just for existing and privacy in general is under attack now, so use all the privacy-enchacing tools while it's still easy.
My opsec is superior to yours

No, but I like to walk the safer route

i cant access .is with a vpn

Yes, considering the hate speech laws in Belgium.

I respect your choice.
Thanks. And it's not out of distrust of people here per se (though apparently fed infiltrators are a concern), but because IT lurkers are particularly invested in doxxing me after I mentioned in a post that I'm pursuing a law-related career. So now I just make random posts suggestion I'm from anywhere lol.

No, but I like to walk the safer route
Because my ISP blocks incels.is, now i use always a VPN ...
Finally, my censor pushed me to surf safer. So I thank my censor !

Now, my project is also to go on darkweb.

From which country connect you to go to incels.is ?

About "hate speech laws". Problem is not the laws, the problem is the interpretation of the laws.

Example. If you suggest to delete the right to vote for women (It's not my opinion), you attack the rights for women. Thus, you hate women. Thus, your speech is a "hate speech". Thus, you can not modify the laws that protect women ... Never !

My opinion is we can modify any law. If not, we live in dictator state.

I'm not a eurocuck so no.

"Firefox detected a potential security threat and stopped loading incels.is. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for incels.is. The certificate is only valid for fccu-stop.services.belgium.be." !!!

It therefore appears that access to incels.is (without a VPN) from Belgium is blocked by the Belgian police.

In french. "Firefox a détecté une menace potentielle de sécurité et a interrompu le chargement de incels.is, Firefox ne fait pas confiance à ce site, car il utilise un certificat qui n’est pas valide pour incels.is. Le certificat n’est valide que pour fccu-stop.services.belgium.be." !!!

Il semble donc que l'accès à incels.is (sans VPN) depuis la Belgique est bloqué par la police belge.

Peoples in my country are too dumb to even know what incel is. They don't care about incel because they are ultra simp and they can have foids easily just with aggresive and flirty personality

no, why would u need one anyways
Because I want to map the countries hostile to incels.is.

Currently, by yours replies :

No hostile : USA, Australia, Finland, Netherlands, United Kingdom
Hostile : Russia and Belgium.

Your reply is very interesting. Thanks.

I don't be able to do this experiment because my VPN is free version. Thus, I do not choice the country ...

Summary. In Belgium, i do not access to incels.is without VPN. But if i choice a belgian server, I can ...

Belgium is definitely the kingdom of surrealism.

So, this means that it's my Internet Service Provider (ISP) that's blocking.
Try changing the DNS server in your router config, should bypass the ISP block.

Thanks for your proposal.

Windscribe is VPN registred in Canada.
Proton VPN is registred in Switzerland. I'm too new to see difference. I use a VPN since few days.

Get mullvad for a true anonymous VPN that won't give your data to the authorities, unlike cuckProton

It's just a claim
I believe that too. A VPN doesn't protect you from your national police. It only allows you (currently) to visit websites located in another country.

Don't forget that between you and the website you're visiting, there's your Internet Service Provider (ISP), which works with your police ...

I'm not an expert, but I believe that...

Tor is a web browser and a network of servers. It's the ideal solution for accessing the dark web and visiting .onion sites (not for regular sites like .is, .com, .org, .us, etc.).

Tor is like Edge, but with content encryption.

But to encrypt content, you first need access to the content...

Without a DNS server, you can't access any websites!

So I think the solution is a browser (Edge, Tor, Firefox, etc.) + a VPN, because a VPN allows you to choose a DNS server other than your Internet Service Provider's (ISP).

In Belgium, since September 2025, Belgian ISPs have changed their DNS servers to prevent Belgian citizens from accessing incels.is.

In such a case, the only solution is to choose an international DNS server.

A VPN allows you to choose a DNS server outside your country.
