Genuine advice for any incels browsing posts here​

I have been browsing this subreddit for a while and wanted to offer some genuine advice for those willing to try. I know we often highlight the worst incels say here, but many are just those who are discouraged, so to those people, I want to provide a little list of things to try!

1. Don’t be discouraged by rejections. While I’m not trying to encourage stereotypes, women tend to be more selective than men in areas other than looks, such as life goals, ability to hold a conversation, sense of humor, etc. This leads to men typically having more rejections, which does not mean you are undesirable! Rejection happens even to those you consider “chads”, and while height and looks certainly help on average, they are by no means everything.
2. Work on yourself first. Where I saw the most success with women, and most importantly finding my current girlfriend who I love, I first started focusing more heavily on school, diet, working out, and finding more hobbies. While I’ve never struggled with hygiene, and I’m a naturally extroverted person, these may be things to focus on for yourself!
3. Say yes to more things! This could mean joining a club at school (even if it’s a hobby girls don’t on average find attractive such as a gaming club), going out with friends more, making new friends, etc.Increasing your social circle introduces you to more girls, but this is far from the most important factor: finding more joy and passion for your own life. Girls I know tend to cite guys who are driven and social more than they do looks in terms of attraction, so find something you enjoy and people you enjoy.
4. Avoid incel forums. While I understand the desire to be with those that struggle as you do, these forums often devolve into groupthink and harmful narratives. Avoiding these is the most important first step, as many here want to see you continue to struggle as they do, killing your drive.

I’m open to DMs for any advice, or just to talk, even to those who message hate simply for a reaction. Despite what things you may have said, I think everyone can change and I’d love to try and help!

How do you join a club at school when you've finished it almost 10 years ago, your social circles (minimal as they were) have all fallen apart and the only environment where you interact with people is work, where 90% of employees are men?
