I have very minimal cooking knowledge. The most I usually do is just air fry shit but I'm trying to learn a little more. I made a pasta today and it was pretty good.

I feel like I've got a pretty solid grasp of the science of baking(going to be making some lye bath pretzels soon), made sausage, and recently smoked the best rack of ribs I've had in my life when I was just trying to learn how to cook on solid fuel. I've been planning on trying to make fermented/cold smoked sausage and homemade cheese, but the warm climate here limits when it can be done so I haven't got around to it yet.
It really depends on what you're making and how big of a batch, I find that most dishes can be made in ~10 minutes of active work, and cooking in large batches greatly increases efficiency and allows for weeks worth of convenient meals that only need to be reheated.

Women are honestly horrible at cooking from my experience, they make a mess of the kitchen, often do things in an inefficient and difficult way, don't know the purpose of the various steps and techniques used, and refuse to learn. Due to those reasons they never are able to do more than follow simple instructions and even that they fuck up. There's a reason almost all good chefs are men
