A mix of living alone and having roommates. While I have roommates, I have the master bedroom with my own private bath. I also have a minifridge, microwave, and plug in burner, so I don't need to interact with them to cook.

Well it would help with foids. They don't like a man that's too dependent on his parents and saying to her "Hey do you wanna crash at my place? Don't worry mommy isn't home" would be a HUGE deterrent.
