I stopped freaking out and crying when I got wet a few years before age ten and as I went through puberty something started to click when I looked at human faces, as in I could finally see a face and think "John" instead of just examining it like it was a fucking rock. However I still have horrible hand-eye coordination (I can't catch a ball or throw a punch without it looking spergy), the tact of a rhino in a china shop and I always miss crucial things in multi-person social dynamics that actually come as a surprise when somebody talks about them. When a situation seems suspiciously empty I always get suspicious something I didn't pick up is going on and most of the time I end up being right.
This is probably the benchmark for non-LARP autism on this forum tbh.
Doctor said I was, but when I was very young, and nobody has challenged the diagnosis since.

Depression, autism, anxiety. Psychiatrist kept trying to convince me to get on autismbux which only made me more depressed thinking about it
why would you not get on autismbuxx? I wish I could get some free money but my autism isn't severe enough.
Because I had already spent most of my 20s as a NEET by that point and the opportunity to do the same thing with an extra $700 a month didn't seem worth it. I'd rather just rope and get it over with.
