I know many of us here, including me, lacked a father figure or any type of strong male figure in their lives for the most part, which has probably contributed slightly our current predicament(environmental factors are a contributing factor of inceldom). As a young child, I often turned to God in times of uncertainty and tribulation; it was nice have a someone to look up to and try to emulate. As I got older though, I lost faith and became an atheist, rendering me truly lost and alone. I realize that I have pretty much been alone most of my life with nobody to look up to. That’s the problem with the nuclear family as opposed to have community-based child-raising: the responsibly is placed squarely on the back of the father to teach his child how to become a man. I used to try and fill that void with the coaches I had on sports teams, but that was never really sufficient. I find myself still looking for that person—my very own Superman.I don’t know if I’ll ever find him though. Do you have such a person in your life?
