My voice sounds decent but I’m monotone as fuck and have no vocal range. I can talk normal but when it comes to singing it just sounds like I’m talking weirdly

I think that if you don't exercise your vocal range from a young age, usually you end up with a monotone voice with barley any reach.

i'll just say that between grades 1 - 6 i tried out for the choir team every year and was not accepted. not even close. didn't even finish my audition before the teacher told me that was enough. so that pretty much says it all
(i wanted to join because the choir team would skip classes twice a week to practice and a lot of the girls thought choir boys were cute. the Chad in my class, Richard, was very athletic and could sing his fucking ass off. during lunch girls would ask him for a kiss)
