Do you guys prefer rare or well done. Also do you think rare meat is bad for you?

I like rare meat but I've been reading about some of the bad diseases you can contract like worms and now I'm scared tbh. It says its usually in bad environments like 3rd world countries. I live in a the states and I'm pretty sure the meat is a lot better treated here but still do you think shit like that is common here.

Honestly asking this cause I ate some rare steak today kek. It was bloody in the middle and it got me thinking.
