By traveling I mean going somewhere by airplane. Whether to a different country or just a different part of your home country. Where do you like to travel and what to you do for fun when you go on trips?

Never been on a plane.

I never been on a plane before. I would love to travel though, I want to go to Iceland someday.

I rarely travel, mostly twice a year — during winter to ski with my parents, during summer to hike through mountains. Traveling part isn't bad either, actually it used to bore me a lot when I was a kid, but I do enjoy driving a lot and it keeps me entertaining throughout the journey. Last year I traveled by plane for the first time since 2007 and it was okay, but I find it too cramped inside and too noisy. Besides, with mask mandate it's really uncomfortable to wear that shit all the time in closed spaces.

Traveling alone is a chore at times unless you have a really tightly organized plan. During a business trip at my work I mostly walked around the city I stayed at, because there was literally nothing to do. I didn't go to clubs or bars, because I don't need to serve myself suifuel. Therefore I packed the bag and just toured the countryside by foot.

I'm planning to go on a road trip this year, pack up for 2-3 days, sleep in the car and simply just drive from point A to point B, maybe check some stuff out while at it too.

i used to like it but now that i'm aware i look like a subhuman i don't like going outside

Plus it's just a chore. Even something as simple as a flight is annoying and boring as fuck. You have wait so much on every single step it's unreal.

Haven't been on a plane in over 15 yrs

I like getting drunk and eating food when I go on holiday.

I want to travel to Florence, Italy.

They have museums, classical music, good food, architecture and art galleries.

A lot. It's relaxing. A shame I can't afford to travel anytime I see fit.

No

I traveled for work up until a month ago and I fucking hated that shit. It would ruin all my routines, was physically taxing, and inevitably something would get fucked up (lose something, forget shit, etc)

Yes. Going abroad and experiencing new countries and cultures is one of the best things I've done. I haven't been abroad for years, though, and can't see that changing any time soon because I'm not (((vaccinated))).

I’m too poor to do that

I like travelling. Flew 3x already, 2x Denmark, 1x Vatican.

If I am somewhere I usually look at a) historical monuments, b) zoos/aquariums/museums, c) the nature (I hate beaches and love hiking, particularly in the mountainside, I particularly like volcanic landscapes too and am often looking for reptiles, amphibians, spiders, birds and plants - particularly orchids).

On holidays I move >20km per day and am often scratched/sweaty/bleeding. Otherwise it's shit for me. Lying on a beach or only eating is for me boring.

I mostly love the Mediterranean. Climate-wise, landscape-wise (particularly the maquis, the cork oak forests, the cliffs, the volcanoes like the Stromboli/Vesuvius/Etna), foodwise, animalwise, artwise and city-wise (I love Florence/the Vatican/Rome). Another reason why I love it is the sunset and night, watching the wall geckos hunting the insects close to a light source or hearing the boars out there was incredible already as a child. This I often enjoyed with a good book. And I know some Latin and history too (from school/private stuff).

My biggest loves so far were the Tuscany and the Aeolian islands with the volcanic landscapes, the black beaches and the sulfur springs. With Corsica/Sardinia I would like to gather future experiences (interesting fauna with many cave salamanders/mountain salamanders/lacertids and based geography - particularly the lava cliffs on Corsica).

But I cannot travel due to family issues. One day I would like to see SEA or South America, but I am too scared of the crimes there.
