I personally dont eat meat because i always hated the way it tastes and i think its very bad for health. Same goes for fish and eggs.

Its completely opposite for me. I dont care about animals, but i just find the taste of meat absolutely discusting. I hated meat since very young age, but my parents forced me to eat it.

Its completely opposite for me. I dont care about animals, but i just find the taste of meat absolutely discusting. I hated meat since very young age, but my parents forced me to eat it.

This is true, not everything that's alive and has brain is conscious, consciousness is exclusive to large brains with abstract thinking, language and the ability to create memories

That being said the scale of animal farming is brutal but that's because of high human population not the fact that a human wants to eat meat, if we were in the millions instead of billions everyone could eat HUNTED (not farmed) animals and there'd be no issues
