It could be considered so in the sense that we're the only people that really 'get' each other. We are outcasts as (mostly) adult virgins who are not understood by others in real life. Unfortunately there are many subdivisions within the community and this is how arguments arise and undermines any real sense of brotherhood.
Ultimately, we are better focusing on what unites us more than what divides us. After all, what else do we have besides each other?
