I think early 2000 was the last time they made good electronic dance music. Many different good tracks from many sub genres. From stuff like euro dance cheesy tracks like darude sandstorm to trance tracks, to hard dance. Now all tracks sound too alike with generic d&b or dubstep samples or that big room drop. It my opinion it is cancerous.
Back then hard dance was really hard dance. Quality seems to have dropped when it got more popular.
