There is no reason to believe that free will is real, and the only two arguments for its existence are: it could potentially emerge from sufficiently complex biological systems; and the fact that we seem to experience what we think to be 'free will'. That's it. There are literally no more arguments for it. It is more probable that God exists than free will does.

High IQ. I'm more inclined towards determinism as well.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that there is absolutely no free will, not even 1%. But free will is definitely very small to the point that the vast majority of our thoughts, decisions, and actions are a product of biological systems and environmental stimulus, not conscious will.

Nope, you can trace all your choices back to pre determined factors

Yes. Free will is real and compatible with determinism.

to some extent

I believe in adequate free will

No and you're religious if you do

You can only have free will for a few minutes/hours if you kill yourself afterwards.

“Free will is a myth, religion is a joke. We’re all pawns, controlled by something greater. Memes. The DNA of the soul.”

nah. It’s very simple if you sit down and think about it for a minute or so, at the same time, we all have a choice, the same why you can be a cuck, betabuxxer, and a tranny. These are within your realm of existence. Left or right but you can’t go up and down, I believe in terms of thought and ideas there can be free will applied because there is not limits by physical realities. Really only experiences at that point but philosophy really is all about moving the goalposts so I guess I’m wrong

No. But it's just because believing this makes me feel better and not because i have done extensive research on the topic.

What do you think about pre-destination?

Deja vu is a big reason I don't believe in free will. I have it all the time, even in my dreams.

Makes me think I've been reincarnated here before multiple times.

Probably repeating the same life, with the same mistakes, with the same problems.

Even when I try to do something spontaneous or sporadic I'll still get deja vu lol :feelskek: :kys:
