You wouldn't say "nothing ever happens" if you, only for example, lived in an unfortunate situation like in Ukraine at the start of the war. You'd say "things are happening"

Admittedly, most europeans and americans are right to say "nothing ever happens", because we have been in a time of only relative peace for 80 years, when Europe has been in conflict for the last thousands of years continously.

But I also think it's reasonable to say that this peace is coming to an end. I don't think I even have to explain why. A lot of reasons.

i think there's a clear point of contention where boomers are playing their hand too hard on gen alphas. from what i can see millennials are mostly leftist, which i think implies the older the generation the less they end up in the cross fire, so if gen x gets office next i think they might encourage alphas to lash out cuz of their liberalism, and the millennials will only make it worse by that reasoning. i dont think we're in a position we can save america, the only people who want to return to tradition already agree with it anyway. deadzone walking, leave while u can.

And as far as what im doing to prepare? Idk neet for as long as possible and when shit does pop off I'll just boog Inna woods Ted style. It isnt the greatest option but it is what it is

Political polarisation is a modern concept which will definitely be a factor like you described.

I think for me, when shit goes down, i will arm up and do a lot of stuff. I have prepared. It's gonna be so exciting and fun.
