As it is with human beings in general, it is hard to generalize a population based only on an exaggerated expression of animalistic behaviours. Sure, biologically speaking there are tremendous amounts of individuals who only seek to reproduce with the most genetically gifted, but what is to be blamed of our own biology? Wouldn't we be hypocrites to say that we would not want that for ourselves too?

Sure, rational and "civilized" females exist - using the word for lack of a better idiom.
