If I answer the door, it's because I'm expecting someone. I'll check if there's a police car outside, and if there isn't, whoever it is can fuck right off.
Is this a US thing? Your houses have a front door and a back door?
I usually look to see who it is first obviously. The only people who have come up to my door before were people looking for the previous owners who were probably drug dealers.
So many packages come to the door and they never stay long that it's become habit to open it as fast as possible.
no. never. i usually try to peak outside my window if i can see them but if i am not expecting copany i would never open the door. most packages just get delivered at the post office anyway so they will send me a text if i need to go outside and pick it up. i never open the front door
