If I said I genuinely felt bad I would be virtue signaling. True sorrow gives you sleepless nights. Can't say I've ever felt that way about someone I've never met. It is a great shame because you know the guy's suffering was no fault of his own. But after a few minutes I gotta move on.

I agree with you, but I still feel sad and get slightly depressed when I hear or read about someone taking their own life. I can relate to their pain, I know exactly what they’ve gone through that let them to that fatal decision.
But as others pointed out here, it’s hard to prove that if they actually did or were just larping.

Then I checked the date and got sad immediately.

Was talking about it with @light. His parents logged in after he roped to check his account.
Full suspension is designed in a way where you can’t back out because your body goes limp. No bloodflow to the brain = you lose control of your body. It’s pretty foolproof and the most common suicide method. Feet fully off the ground.

It's sad but it's worse when it's one of your friends. I had one friend rope 5 years ago and his mum found his body and was freaking out and crying in discord vc, was a weird experience.
