If you have a formidable frame then people are much less likely to say shit to you or bully you, so yes. However the muscles that matter the most are neck, traps and shoulders. Those are the muscles that respond most to androgens which is why you can tell if a person takes steroids pretty much alone from their trapezius muscles

But as a general rule yes, having muscle makes you more attractive to women. The reason why some women claim they don't like muscular guys is because they're either intimidated by muscles or they think in extremely black and white terms, so they think by a muscular guy is Schwarzenegger, which isn't realistic at all. And some women have low self esteem and they get insecure if the guy looks better than them, even if these women find these guys to be more attractive. Its just sour grapes. All the studies have proven that women prefer strong men and the stronger the guy is, the more attractive they find him
