We / they build the best countries to live in and much of modern civilisation, obviously it will be easier to be born a white than an ethnic.

Generally yes white people probably have it easier than non-white people. But that drastically depends on where you are:
-Developing World: Being white could graduate almost anyone into Chad-status. This is because whiteness is associated with financial security/wealth, and media that glorifies white people is insanely prevalent.
-Developed world: In most of the developed world like in Europe, whites are still at a notable advantage due to the fact that people generally have a preference for their own race.
The only case that I could think of where white people are at a disadvantage over non-whites is in a situation where non-whites are rich enough to not care much about money, and there’s enough minorities that whites don’t have a intraracial-preference advantage. This would be in places like American cities, the American Southwest, etc.
