Do people become apolitical as they age?

On tiktok for example, every time somebody advocates a slightly extreme ideology whether it be natsoc, communism, anarchism, libertarianism etc, there will always be comments saying shit like "happy 12th birthday" or "You'll grow out of it" and the like, why do people associate political radicalism with really young age. I'd assume you'd think somebody was quite old or an adult if they are understanding such complex political and economic ideas. I feel like it's the opposite, I think the more I age, the more I understand and the more I support new political ideas.

I used to be politics caring but I gave up when I got blackpilled. I feel like for most "radical" people they either accept they are a incel loser who will never effect anything like that or they just try to get on with their normie lives and serve their roasty. Mostly only chads or third worlders can afford to be "extremist" as they are old because they have nothing else to worry about

Because, in their view, an adult man has no time to think about politics, as he must provide for his wife and children. An adult man who is 35 years old, who has an office job, a beer belly, and a wife with a couple of children, has no time to think about politics. In the eyes of the Normies, only schoolchildren and students are interested in politics, since they have time for this. This is purely my theory.

There is partly a rational grain in this, because while you are young, you can believe in something and sincerely support it with all your heart as a way to change the world for the better (whether it's fascism, communism, green ECO-activism), but people after 30 already become dead in their souls, they burn out, become cynical and Nihilistic, they stop believing in at least some ideals. Therefore, there are no revolutions in old societies, since those over 30 + have no desire for change, they do not believe in any ideals, they are only interested in their useless work in some office, where he is forced to grovel before the boss for the sake of a bonus and at home, where they are forced to endure the scandals of his wife, as she can file to file for divorce and wring out half of the property in court. These people are dead in terms of believing in anything, they hate their lives and everything around them.
