Serious Do Inceltears users/youtubers actually think most incels are threats?

Whenever I've poked my head into inceltears or youtube videos on incels I've noticed a lot of them will describe incels like terrorists or serial killers. They'll talk about incels like they're some huge threat to humanity and that we're all one bad day away from ERing the nearest mall. At first I thought this was just click bait and attention seeking but now I'm not super sure. Do they really see themselves as these internet watchdogs that stop "ebil incel mahsoggykneests" from raping the nearest JB in his area? I swear every time incels come up they try to tie it to Elliot Rodger or Alek Minassian is some way. I want to believe that these people are just being silly but I can't tell anymore.

They know we're not a threat. They don't actually believe their own lies. What they're trying to do is brainwash members of the general public who know nothing about incels into thinking that we're a threat, so they can gain enough political capital to launch an official Jihad against us.
