I had a job interview a couple weeks ago, then last Saturday I worked a trial shift for them for 6hrs
Basically it's this mini resort place with the worlds largest something, I won't say what bc that would tell my exact location, it's like paradise basically the best retail job you can ask for
I was doing the trial shift in the cafe, the workers said I was working harder than anyone else zooming back and forth with everything and a foid coworker said she'll put a good word in for me
but then I hear nothing for a few days, so I come back to ask wassup and apparently the manager broke her head or something severe to be in the hospital and the ppl there apologize no contact
but then after this i go wandering around the resort and there's this staff only trail that looks super interesting and I say fuck it
I walk all the way down it and then security get pissed at me
Then when I get home, the day after I get the message that unfortunately I did not get the job "due to reviewing your behavior the past few days"
and they aren't responding anymore but I'm still owed like 50quid from those 6hrs of work and I'm broke as FUCK i need every penny
so do I escalate?
they didn't specify it was paid work but according to chat gpt I'm entitled to be paid
