Steam just told me I have spent 1,950 hours in Skyrim.

In my country full-time employees get 4 week's leave every year. That means a typical year of working 9-5 Monday-Friday, would add up to (52weeks - 4weeks) x 40hrs/week = 1920 hours at work.

So I've spent more than a working year in Skyrim...

[Disclaimer: I do work as well! Been in my career about 20 years...]

I have the same type of stats on my games, I rack up lots of hours across different games because its all I do everyday, I don't see a problem with it

No, it means you have a cope that you enjoy. There are people who have multi thousands of hours in that game, who have been playing it daily since it's release in 2011.

Same applies to many other games. If it helps you cope, play it as much as you like.

It’s nothing to be ashamed of, especially if you’ve been playing it for years

That's the point of Elder Scrolls games, you become invested into that world you can make whatever you want, so it is what it is.

It's been out since 2011, it's not that bad. Imagine if normies got told how many hours they have spent watching tv since 2011.
