Then he sacrifices himself for this cumdumpster and Chad lives. Fin.

Generic zombie movies are pretty boring just as they are but on top of that it's set in a highschool with pointless, trivial teenage drama. What is the normie obsession with high-school shows?

Guess the appeal is in reliving the adventure and young-adult romance. It's always the same common theme of a group of friends going on an adventure, trying to beat the corrupt system, love triangles within the group etc. Perfect recipe for big box office hits (maze runner/hunger games/stranger things f.e.)

I actually felt a lot more upset when side characters like Chong-san's friend or the dude with glasses died.
One recurring theme of K-drama is that chads and stacies either die heroically or live until the end (the same applies to good-looking villains), whereas incels and normies die an unremarkable death that nobody cares about. Intentional or not, Korean shows are definitely blackpilled to the core.
