I remember being bluepilled and full of hope like him. I really did think that if I was kind, studied hard, and put myself out there, that I would eventually find the girl of my dreams. It would be just like all the movies and games I consumed. I would have my "coming of age" hero's journey and find "true love".
I sorta miss those days. Having hope feels nice. But if it's false hope, then you end up paying the price, like I've been for years. Life sucks.
