But like up to the age of 11 or so, were you guys also treated like a normal person at malls or diners or such? I see pictures of myself before the hell of puberty and I’m smiling at the mall of America in the roller coaster section. I do think it's a gender and age thing though. I think that women and children/teens are just treated nicely because... they're non-threatening.

I've always been the smallest one, even in kindergarten, but at least back then I didn't know how much of an issue this was and somehow didn't get bullied for it so I was somewhat happy and there are even some photos of me with a genuine smile. Also, I didn't have a Chad face but at least I could pass as a cutecel kid.

Around the time I experienced my first (embarrassing) rejection, however, my face suddenly became expressionless like I was catatonic. Not that I remember much; I can only guess based on photos and my vague memories.
