Brutal Did you get impacted wisdom teeth?

I have a severe deepbite and recession which I've been on invisalign for months to fix because my bite was slowly grinding down and destroying my teeth. When I went to the Jewdontics they asked me about extractions because my wisdom teeth have barely any space back there thankfully they weren't impacted so I refused but what about you guys?

Nope, but I've been to the dentist plenty of times for fillings/root canals due to poor dental hygiene. I have three wisdom teeth and they aren't impacted. I'm terrified of getting gum disease and losing my teeth/having my jaw recess so I take care of my teeth as much as possible.

Yep, I got mine removed in 2021 or 2022 (I forgot, the "COVID years" were a blur.) because the pain was unbearable. Before my surgery they gave me hydrocodone for the time being. It made me feel like shit.

At what age did the pain start for you?

I've had 3 removed. One had to be surgically removed, I remember that the lingering pain after the removal was distinctly worse compared to the other 2.

I did. Sometimes I bite the inside of my cheeks due to their misalignment. But it's rare and they aren't visible so I won't pay for a dentist to remove them.
