The 90s and even the 2000s were a very different era compared to the one we live in now. It's really quite disturbing how quickly things shifted in the political landscape, I remember a time when trannies were considered a weird minority group that should be ignored or ridiculed. Then one day, al of a sudden people start talking about gender-related bullshit as if it's always been a thing.
Never underestimate just how badly normalfags, especially middle-class whites, are willing to conform to groupthink. They're even killing their own babies now because it's supposed to be the new cool thing. I've seen lots of innocent white people, especially foids, fall into the LGBTXYZ or vegan rabbit hole because they wanted to fill the void that in the past used to be filled by some sort of ethnic/cultural/religious identity.
