Story Did I hallucinate that day? Someone help me understand what happened

I remember it was a summer morning, like around 5AM, I couldn't sleep so I just watched some videos on youtube, I decided to open the window a bit, anyway I was fully conscious and not sleepy, just watching the horizon, when suddently, what looks like to be a face pops up and peeks from the window. It appeared to me to resemble captain Howdy from The Exorcist . This thing:

Anyway, the moment the face peaked, I freaked out and covered myself with the blanket, only after some minutes I went to check the window but nothing, it was physically impossible, I tought I misinterpreted a bird, but the face was too still to be one, and I sure as hell remember some eyes specifically. I also didn't look it from the corner of my eyes, which usually cause one to see shadows and stuff; it appeared at the center of my vision. So, does anyone have any idea of what might have happened?

Only happened once? Yea probably nothing. I've seen weird shit too but never the same thing twice.

I think that YouTube kike H3H3 said he saw something like that before, apparently “zombie” faces peaking through peoples windows are common

I had a very VERY traumatizing event when I was was around 4 or 5 involving something crawling around my closet and then slamming the door open and loudly speaking to me. I don’t remember what it said but I am literally getting chills and my heart rate is going up just by typing this right now.

I think it was sleep paralysis, but the disturbing thing is that my closet was actually fucking opened.

It scared me so bad I never slept in my room after and slept in the hallway or another room upstairs.

I’ll probably post a thread about this soon.

Must have been scary asf, but in my case it wasn't sleep paralysis 100 percent sure. Gonna see what's the zombie faces stuff

it was kinda scary for younger me but yours is scarier.
the head was just like a normal dude instead of some horror movie shit and it was daytime.

Perhaps it was an illusion. Considering you were only 11 years old at that time, children sometimes get confused between memories and hallucinations. But to be honest, how the truth actually is could only be known by you at the age of 11.
