I used to have a very rural American kind of enunciation as a child, like a cowboy or something.

If I were white, it probably wouldn't have been as much of a personal issue to where I thought it had to be fixed, but even back then I knew it was weird for Asian kids to talk like buster scruggs.



Especially after my family went to the Northern states, I can't even imagine the shit that I would've had to deal with if I didn't get it together early on :feelsmega:

I have a slight southern accent too but it’s not at all noticeable so I’m ifne
 
Accent failo effect is real.
 
No mine isn't too strong but i've had people who noticed it
 
mine has been fixed for years,i hated the heavy new york accent i used to have but by now i sound different thankfully.
