Did anyone else get banned from accessing Reddit after our sub got removed?

That website is truly something else. I never used it for anything other than r/Incels and after it was removed (there are gore subs that don’t get that treatment yet ours did, go figure), every now and then I stumbled upon a Reddit search result.

I discovered that every time I go into Reddit, as it just so happens, the website doesn’t display anything at all. I go into a familiar vpn to see what’s up and yes, no Reddit link works either. I try to go in with a vpn I’ve never used and, surprise surprise, now it works.

Turns out that I read a bit about the subject and it seems that when Reddit does a shadow ban, they ban every single IP address you’ve ever logged in with your account. What a bunch of horseshit, my only crime being that I was a user in our sub, why the fuck would they go out of their way to even ban your access to reading the site and ban every IP...what they did to us was an overkill.

Anyways, just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this and, if you were wondering why you can’t even READ the fucking site, now you know.

That’s the thing man, it’s not the fact that I can’t post with my account; I can’t access the entire website, with the IPs I used to log in with, anyways. It says something like ‘this website is not available’, across every device I use. Maybe it’s just me, who knows if I pissed off the wrong nu-male and ended up in this predicament.

Like I said, it’s every now and then that I stumble upon a Reddit link, and I only created the account for our sub back then. We were all Redditors once as much as it shames us, much like fascists who were ex-Marxists.

People get so obsessed with Reddit. It’s one website. There are plenty of other places on the Internet. The writing has been on the wall for a long time now that it’s not what it once was.

I know, it’s just harder to find sites that have users with a base level of knowledge regarding certain topics. Sometimes I use Reddit when I’m having technical problems with some of my electronics; there’s so much rubbish out there, online. The people at Quora don’t have any useful information most of the time. And YouTubers? Don’t even get me started, it’s quack central when it comes to help topics.
