It was easy, unless you crank up the difficulty beyond "normal", also; diamonds are the main currency there and you buy items with them online like you're using a bank account hence the reference.

Maybe it was because I was too young when I played it, but I remember the game being annoying af with all your weapons breaking, malaria kicking in, having to cure yourself and enemies constantly respawning on checkpoints even when you kill them all. Never could get too far.
