Brutal Dental issues

What a long fucking week it’s been. I haven’t been posting on here since getting my wisdom tooth pulled since I’ve never been in so much fucking excruciating pain in my life. After the fucking tooth was pulled my neighboring tooth developed an abscess that I wasn’t aware of until it drained into a bubble on my gum, so for two days before that I was in agony and under the assumption it was just my pulled wisdom tooth, when it was my pulled tooth combined with this fucking infection. To make matters worse I haven’t gotten to smoke all week.

I went to the dentist because of the pain and they prescribed me with Ibuprofen for the pain, which would help for 2 hours and then after that the pain would become unbearable again. It wasn’t until the next morning I felt the swelling and saw the abscess, and the pain finally went down, so I had to go BACK to the dentist and they finally gave me antibiotics to keep the infection at bay while I waited for a root canal appointment.

Days later I had to drive to a different city to get this root canal done since it was the only opening the doctor had. When I got in they did X rays and my tooth almost had to be fucking pulled so I would’ve had two teeth pulled back to back but luckily it was structurally stable enough to stay after they drilled it. Even now I’m still in pain because I burned my throat swallowing food, which happened because I couldn’t properly chew due to the wound on my gums so I had to swallow large chunks and I scraped my throat.

Not only did I scrape my throat in one spot, but I developed a mother fucking canker sore in another spot, so my throat is in constant pain. My tongue is also in pain since the dentist must’ve hurt it with his tools while I was numbed. The pain doesn’t fucking end for me, I have the worst luck while my female equivalent is whoring around and enjoying her life of luxury where she gets anything she wants and has everyone worship her for fucking existing.

It shrunk on its own with the pills, but of course they probably wanted me in pain as long as possible so I could keep coming back.

i'm glad i finally had all my horrible teeth removed, i have none now just gums, used to live in horrible pain daily from it

Brutal, are you able to chew? Either way at least you’re not in pain anymore

Brutal shit.

I’ve been through this a few times myself with regular molar root canals ie the whole epic pain thing before the actual procedure as the nerve dies and swells inside the tooth but can’t expand to get relief etc.

The ibuprofen plus Tylenol or extra strength Tylenol combo really works I’ve found though I personally can’t use it anymore if I get another one of these situations since I’m on the Eliquis blood thinner for afib.

That said these niggers should have told you to gargle with warm salt water or have chicken noodle soup regularly or something as the salt helps to decrease the swelling and inflammation and works in tandem with the medication to reduce pain.

Anyway I can relate to your dental oddysey as I’ve been on one of my own.

I thought just recently my three year nightmare was over but just a few days ago my apicectomy treated tooth may have finally fully failed and require extraction plus a bridge to fix the empty area since my endontist told me it’d be too big a risk with my anatomy nerve bundle to try for an implant as one slip by the surgeon and part of my face ie lip and tongue will be permanently numb and or paralyzed and or burning so basically all kinds of fucked up and shit.

I don’t want to risk the numbness and I don’t want an empty space there or to have to have the hassle of wearing a denture so destroying two other perfectly good teeth is my only viable remaining option.

Just wonderful but I can still totally understand if you’d want to trade places with me since I don’t have any significant dental pain.

yeah chewing is about the same as it was before i had them removed, but i basically had none left at the point of removal anyways only had about 10 teeth left that needed to be removed, but some things are limited now anything too crunchy etc

Tylenol did fuck all but Ibuprofen worked wonders. During the height of the pain there was no visible abscess and 70% of the pain was relieved by the time it was visible since it drained. They took enough fucking X rays to give me chemotherapy I don’t know how they didn’t spot it sooner

Brutal, there’s always so many fucking complications when it comes to oral health. My subhuman teeth are just another flaw that keeps the foids away, by being ugly and giving me constant pain.
