Where I live, 50 years ago my grandfather could have purchased more land here, hundreds of acres for just a couple hundred dollars, but he decided to spend it on other stuff like alcohol and groceries, he could have struggled just a little bit then and bought that land which is today worth tens of millions.

It's fucking so over. Unless your parents were very smart and you are wealthy now, there is no point supporting the system. My dad has a great job but we are still middle class. It's not enough.
