Totally. I wanted to drop out before end of my sophomore year. I told my mom and she said "no you need a degree to find a job ". I should've just done it.
Even when I had one year left and was taking bullshit classes just to fill my remaining credits, I asked my step dad if employers would even check my diploma he said "of course, my first job 35 years ago asked to send it in the mail"
Now I work a job that I could've figured out by my sophomore year and they never asked for my diploma. Literally just learn Python and Javascript and lie about having a degree and you'll accomplish the same thing that took me 5 years and thousands of dollars.
