what’s the best way to debtmax without losing my assets after filing bankruptcy? I did have one idea. I’ve bought gold in the past with my credit cards. My plan was to take out as many credit cards as possible max them out and buy gold with them. Once I get the gold I’ll sell it for cash. Then in bankruptcy court I was going to say that I lost all the money gambling at the casino. While stashing the cash somewhere safe in the meantime. I can’t really think of any other ways

in some cases you can file banruptcy without really losing much assets if any at all

Rack up as much credit card debt as you want, pay some of the minimums to look like you're trying, and you should get all the debt wiped clean as long as you're not well in the $100k+ range. Credit card companies don't care unless you're rich.

You don't need to do any of that gold stuff if you do a regular Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
