Saw Ghost Gum's video "The Fall of r/Antiwork". Decided to take a look. Of course, the more upvoted posts and comments on the sub are how their boss has given unreasonable demands, micromanaging, being unpleasant etc. Slowly I realize that most comments are foids complaining about having to deal with their foid managers. I am still in school but most foid teachers that I have dealt with have always been unruly to deal with, whereas male teachers just expect you to do your shit. I had this one teacher my year 12 of hs that sounded suspiciously familiar to the managers and bosses from that sub.
This one foid teacher had phone a rule where when you came into her class, you had to leave you phone under our desk in a box. Even if we finished with our work, we would then need to work on something else by reading a book or doing something that was due 3 weeks in advance, just constant busy work when she was present. "The bell doesn't dismiss you, I DO". It was beyond inconsequential, yet she would do it anyway for a sense of control over 16 year old's.
That same year I had a manufacturing class with a new teacher. Same obtuse rules as the other one. The amount of busy work we did that contributed towards nothing is fucking laughable. I cant stress this enough about how we needed to be doing something constantly even if we finished. She couldn't even bother to give proper assignments, she would make us give an update of what we had been working on and asked us to grade ourselves on our performance (she wouldn't even bother to check the updates off, so MORE FUCKING BUSY WORK THAT WENT TOWARDS NOTHING)
Bitch: "What did you do today?"
Me: "Not much, already finished what I needed to already"
Bitch: "Hmm, it didn't LOOK like you did anything, so you get a zero today"
Me: ("Bitch what?")
These were always empty threats anyway, because again, she never bothered to grade.
I never realized how common this was, I just thought I had a bad experience. Its like they don't understand the concept of being efficient.
