Deal with Darkness

When I was very young, I was always sick.
I got bullied a lot.
One day, I lay in bed at night.
I prayed to the dark lord. I asked for the strength to defeat my enemies.
I have had many try to kill me, but I am still here.
Over my lifetime, I have survived dozens of near death events.

Always under attack, but always emerging victorious.

Now, I wish I would have asked darkness for a girlfriend.
But at the time, my wish made sense.

But I know, one day, the demon will come to collect.
My deal came with a heavy price. Yes, I’ve survived a lot of things, but survival is all I have.
I’ve never even been on a date…..and I’m 42.

Shit, I should have asked for a sex addict Stacy girlfriend.
