He claims that AI is going to replace every human job and eventually ai might go rogue against people. I don't think he or most of his commenters understand that generative ai is not independent and just regurgitates data it's trained off whenever you enter a prompt. It's a glorified google search that does the extra work of reading every article and soyddit comment for you. (It's specifically trained off soyddit because they want it to lean left)
I don't think ai is going to replace every single human job because it's still prone to make mistakes due to how it works. You need human supervision. We've already seen that with coding. Ai will often mess up. Generative ai is not reliable as people think it is. Just talk to a chat bot and you'll see that it's basically equivalent to talking to a homogenous reddit blob. Very repetitive and boring.
Dbdr also stated that unattractive men only reproduced because of capitalism which is why we have so many unattractive men today. His evidence for this was a study where chimpanzees were given money and unattractive chimps became more sexually successful. We're not chimps. Humans have reproduced by exchanging resources with women for the longest time. Women have evolved to desire resources from men. Even without capitalism you would have men who wouldn't reproduce otherwise having children because they provided a woman with resources.
Also, I'd say we have more unattractive guys today because parents are having children at a much older age. Ugly women are more likely to reproduce than ugly men. Women are going to be largely more responsible for unattractive men than vice versa.
