So I have something of a sad announcement to make today, one that I’ve been putting off posting. I’m not going to be able to continue with this blog. I need to make a living and unfortunately the level of engagement with my latest posts has not been enough to make that possible.

I’m proud of this blog, which began chronicling and mocking the growing manosphere long before most people had any idea what it was, and which helped to shape the discourse about it as it metastasized into the monster it is today. When I began I really had no idea what I was getting into, much less that the blog would last as long or get as much attention as it did.

David Futrelle is a long time male feminist who is quite notorious within this community for writing articles on notable threads in this forum, most notably during the .me days. He was very prolific at posting us when the so-called "incel panic" was at its upmost peak, and had a penchant for falling for some particularly hilarious & obvious rage baits. Though I am relieved that another one of our internet opponents has finally called it quits, I can't help but admit that it was quite entertaining reading some of his posts, as it showcased his true dedication at desperately finding a scapegoat to blame on "muh patriarchy".

Oh well, at least I made it in one of his writings.

Well, if this is actually the end of that blog, then that officially means that in the 15 or so years of its existence, or however long that was, of focusing on the scary manosphere, Futrelle only had the courage to once use the term "made-to-penetrate", and even that was to weakly try to debunk some statistics on it.

Good that you've posted this. A few days ago, just out of curiosity, I tried googling the names of some of the researchers behind the most well-known studies on female-perpetrated rape, just to see if there has been any reaction at all to those studies from the big feminist websites and spaces, and unsurprisingly there was basically none. Except for when this survey you've posted was published, and you had David Futrelle, the AgainstMensRights sub and others contacting CDC and celebrating when they confirmed that the lifetime numbers for rape and made-to-penetrate were indeed different... Only that didn't change anything about the last-year ones being basically the same, Futrelle was forced to admit that rape and made-to-penetrate were basically the same after his comment section turned on him, even at that time it was pointed out that men underreport this stuff (which we only have more data confirming it now), and now we even have some studies showing that younger women are more sexually aggressive than older ones, so even if those two figures are different, that would just further prove it.

And after that, nothing. That brief affair over a decade ago is the only mention of "made-to-penetrate" on Futrelle's blog, and people like Cindy Struckmann-Johnson or David DiMarco have never once been mentioned not only on TwoXChromosomes, but on the entirety of Reddit or any feminist blog, journal or whatever.

Those people are so quiet about this topic, they are so terrified of it it's comical. Compare that with how they pounced at Jordan Peterson the moment he talked about the trans stuff, the difference is ridiculous.
