These average guys have to work like dogs. Sure, they still have it better than us, but it's still so much work. That's the problem. Like anything in life, it helps to take a step back and do a cost-benefit analysis. When you look at the amount of work we'd have to do to have even the slightest chance of getting anywhere, you have to seriously question if it's worth it.

I've approached nearly 200 girls and not even got a date out of it. How many approaches would I need to do to get a date - 250? 300? And what would be the chances of the date actually leading anywhere? Pretty slim, given my lack of experience.

The last time I ventured into the barren wilderness that is online dating, I messaged 22 girls in the space of a couple of days. 1 out of 22 girls replied, and she only sent one message. Again, the number of girls I would need to message to have even a small chance of a date, let alone a relationship, makes me wonder if there's any point.

We're often told it's a "numbers game". Well, when the numbers are as exponential as those with which we're dealing, I seriously doubt the chase is worth the prize.
