I've only used dating apps once back when I was in high school due to my really good looking "friend" forcing me to do so (looking back it was most likely a prank to make me humiliate myself). I deluded myself into thinking at least one person would add me back or talk to me but not a single person messaged me or responded to me in over 2 months before I deleted the app in rage. Fast forward a few months later this girl I am acquainted with gets out of a messy break up and in the span of 2 days or 1 she got a new boyfriend. I never felt so defeated and depressed ever.
