RageFuel Damn, I went to NYCC yesterday again, and some woman tried to slow me down while running to the show floor.

They have strict security out there because of protection issues and all that. We all lined up at about 5am in the morning outside to get to the convention first; anyone could've shot the crowd up. I wouldn't blame them. There were hundreds of people in front of me in the line. I went early because I wanted to quickly get tickets to buy some action figures, also the only reason I went there anyways (I did get them successfully). Lots of people went with friends, their SO's and family, which was brutal since I went alone.

We got in, had bags checked, scanned and waited to be let in. I was rushing to the show to make sure I got what I wanted, and some femail guard stopped me asking for ID. Like... how would I have gotten in in the first place? They didn't ask for the convention ticket. They asked for an ID. That held me back for a few seconds but I still won't forget that. I did at least get the items I wanted but it was annoying that they have racist / lookist workers there. I could've even got an earlier time to buy the stuff (the tickets they gave had time slots but they guaranteed you the purchase) but at least I got them. Seeing all the couples and normies was ragefuel. That place is failed normie haven. All of them are neckbearded and smell awful, none of them wash their hands when coming out of the STALLS in the bathroom, but then they go and play the videogame demos and shake hands with CELEBRITIES. They all looked like their wife was home with their boyfriend while they went with their other failed normie friends. The girls were either fat or dressed like sluts.

There's apparently a 'no harassment' policy and they claim it applies to ALL people including workers and people behind booths, but it doesn't. I reported the guard for intimidation and will call the convention customer support but we all know nothing will happen. Those policies are there to protect the SLUTS who dress up half naked. I took a pic of the sign that said 'Welcome' on it at the top of the convention, and some asian kid, some cuck younger than me just shouted 'Yo.' to me. I assume he is a volunteer? He probably was trying to pick on a curry who was by themself or something.

I'm no scalper but i'll probably just resell what I bought and the profit will be used to reimburse myself for the ticket. Good thing I got 4 each of the same item.

JFL @ going to a western comic convention.

You should've went to Otacon or something.

I've never been to a convention or the like. Why would they have looked for ID? I assume it wasn't an age restricted event or anything?

You were supposed to scan a convention ticket before getting into the booth, which I did. Basically, I was walking around and a guard saw my face / race and decided to pick on me because they knew I was in a rush.

Not washing your hands is gross.

They were also playing the video games that thousands of other play afterwards, and also shaking hands with lots of famous people including the guy who plays the voice of vegeta. But remember, those guys get laid and we don't.
