It was a completely random release. Buying things is one of my few copes. I set alarms for 12 am and 3 am, known times. Glued my eyes to my phone. I go for a second to make food and they release and are all gone. All copes are kind of a waste.
It's Over Damn, I stayed up nights and latched onto my phone for hours trying to buy some limited funko pops; I leave for 10 minutes and they all sell out.

Looks good. I like bidding on huge lots of items. Would prefer them with boxes though.
I prefer Japanese nendoroids.
So far I only have my two Hotaru ones (used to play with, sealed for collection).
The funkos seem really boring imo and have

Nendoroids are all unique.
Funkos are really another western imitation like Power Rangers (Super Sentai).
I'm completely obsessed with Power Rangers but there's a bad stigma tied with it, probably because of how cheaply made it is, with super sentai footage making the majority of it. Nendoroids look awesome. They're like ascended funkos. Gotta start collecting those as well.
I loved it when I was a kid. Such an awesome show.
They would never be able to get away with having a Yellow Ranger like they did back then.

Lol. I used to be a sneakerhead back in the day and pretty much ALL people from that hobby switched over to collecting funkos. It's hilarious. They cost like a dollar to make but are super hyped up. I kinda see why people hate them. I'm still a novice when it comes to funkos. Seeing what happened in this post where I missed out on Toy Tokyo's release and other experiences I had makes me not want to get into funkos. I'm not deeply invested in them anyways. I like other figures better.
I still collect power rangers merchandise and have for most of my life, and people would usually mock me for it. Not that I care. It's just something I grew onto. My whole life revolved around the show and collecting the figures.
I prefer them in boxes, too - that was just a tempting deal. Have you seen the mini ones attached to certain horror dvds at Walmart right now? Pennywise, Freddy, Annabelle, I think there was another but I forgot.
I have. They even have funko minis in cereal boxes.
