A lot of my female gen z coworkers talk like this and do that hand gesture too. I don't even think some of them realize they're doing it. Some of them do that annoying thing where they clap between each word too.

Not only are they all very clearly terminally online, but most of them seem to lack even an iota of a personality that isn't blatantly derivative of social media (usually tik tok or reddit).

Theres a few of them that do this A LOT. Like it's a compulsive behavior they do without thinking. I know this comes from tik tok as well.
I honestly think a lot of them aren't even trying to be bitchy or whatever, they're just mindlessly mimicking what they see on tik tok, just like the guys do with the monotone voice and the ironybro memelord shit.
But the clapping between each syllable shit is really fucking annoying and that one I'm sure is intentionally bitchy. Just the other day one of my female coworkers was doing that repeatedly at another coworker.
