Ex-North Texas officer acquitted of crime in woman’s death

A jury acquitted a former Texas police officer of criminally negligent homicide Monday in the deadly shooting of a woman whose welfare he had been sent to check.

Rookie currycel cop was called to investigate some homeless foid lounging around a shopping center. When he arrived at the scene, her dog, smelling danger in the aroma of curry, charged him. He immediately started spraying bullets, grazing the dog but fatally ventilating the foid.
