There was this early judge dredd story arc called the cursed earth, where dredd leads a team across post nuclear war America to give a vital vaccine to mega city two.
Along the way, they encounter raiders, slavers, all that mad max shit.

Well later in the arc, dredd and his team encounter characters who are parodys of famous food mascots like Ronald Mcdonald, colonel Sanders and the jolly green giant.
For years, these chapters were not collected in trade paperbacks due to copyright reasons, until they were included in an uncensored trade paperback in 2016
