You can explain that away as "they're wearing armor because the D2 heroes are stronger and Baal equipped his army" but it's an awfully convenient change from 1997 to 2000 which happens to coincide from a general overall reduction in the matureness/scariness of the Diablo setting to make it more cartoonishly tolerable to the parents of the children who want to play it.

I haven't paid anything, what's wrong with just resolving to enjoy the free stuff? Aside from the default missions there's several single-player storylines that are free DL in the Blizz store

You can earn gold by doing daily/weekly quests (ie "summon 10 minions" or "play 5 games as mage" etc) to buy later missions in some of the others too, like that thing where you're EVIL and play Rakanishu

You earn such a tiny amount of it it's laughable
According to the math(you can find several plebbit posts on this) you can play the game for 8 hours everyday for a year and you still won't get all the cards released that year
And buying the cards is as expensive as multiple AAA titles
On top of it they charge stupid passes now
You won't ever need all the cards of course btw but you get my point that it is expensive af
Card games are normally over-priced but Hearthstone is truly something else
If I were to play a digital card game right now I would play Gwent/Runeterra/anything that actually gives you decent amount of stuff for your time investment
I mean at the end of the day if you enjoy the game nice for you but I hate Blizzard's shit policies to the point that game becomes unenjoyable to me

looks like a pretty decent card, i wouldn't boycott but I usually have trouble setting up those "only damage foes already frozen" combos with spells/battlecries

but that seems a bit out there for a couple reasons:
1) slingshot loli had purple skin, varden has normal flesh skin
2) slingshot loli had green eyes, varden has blue

adding new expansions every 6 months ruined the game and made it unbearable esp with the shit metas.

just give up vidya and take start doing art as your primary pass time trust me you will save yourself alot of sanity

I feel cucked as hell playing it on the PC with my fucking mouse, this was obviously developed for touchscreen tablets/smartphones and I should be doing that and saving my energy/wrists and using PC for more important shit.

the biggest draw for me is the single-player adventures, I whether the online play just for quests to earn gold to buy more

I've unlocked all the gold ones now though and I'm not paying real bucks for the non-gold ones so maybe I can wean myself off

maybe just play the new monthly 'legends' content which is fun

just give up vidya and take start doing art as your primary pass time trust me you will save yourself alot of sanity

can't create art, I just basically help organize / label / circulate other people's drawings and throw out ideas for new creations
