Maybe they want people to go ER.
I remember the time when the media would claim that violent video games desensitize children and make them violent.
But the fact of the matter is that they've always made me more relaxed.
I could live put my wildest and most violent fantasies in a controlled environment. Nobody got harmed and I got to release the anger and rage.
Also, imo being bullied, harassed and such irl is far different from it being done to you by some random, anonymous stranger.
Like, that holds to weight and nobody knows nobody, usually.
I also remember that because of severe bullying at school I've had extreme difficulty even speaking to strangers outside of school, later at work and in every day life.
I could barely get a word out and was stuttering most of the time.
Only in online multiplayer games was I able to open up, talk and speak my mind eventually.
The anonymity has helped me.
But now, people like me cannot even have this.
